Getting something for nothing..........

On 5th June 2005, (five years ago!) I started this blog with a very simple message. It read "test".

I completely forgot about this blog of mine till now, 5 years 3 months and 23 days later and I was astounded to see that my post had garnered two responses!

The first announced that the person thought my blog was cool and invited me to reciprocate to his / her cool website. "One good turn deserves another, even if 5 years 3 months and 23 days later" I reflected and clicked on the link. I was instantly transported into the world of porn.

The second post said "hey, I just got a free $500.00 Gift Card. you can redeem yours at Abercrombie & Fitch All you have to do to get yours is Click Here to get a $500 free gift card for your backtoschool wardrobe." A little intrigued at what would happen if I clicked on a 5 year old link, I clicked. I landed on the abandoned home page of a website that had clearly shut down leaving only a multitude of non-functional links behind.

Clearly I'd come a long way, baby!
